Fall Skin and Hair SOS

The weather changes and season changes are wreaking havoc on my skin. I thought I would share some of my skin emergencies and quick tricks for treating them with you!

1. Sports Game Windburn: I left the house at 6am on Sunday to take my middle daughter to her soccer game. The temperature clocked around 46 degrees and the wind was kicking up. I came home and my face was on fire. After rustling through my cabinets I found Darphin's Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum. It is super-light, soothing, cooling and is packed with chamomile and peony extract. The burning settled down instantly.

    2. Pimple Fix: We all get them once in a while. I had a bad one on my chin. I created M-61 Skincare's PowerSpot Blemish Lotion exactly for these occasions. You just dip a q-tip into this miracle fix, dab it on your pimple, and then it dries into a white shield and treats the blemish while you sleep. You wake up and the blemish is dried up and less oily.  My 13-year-old spots her face every night with it!

      3. Hair Flyaways: My hair gets static-y and dry in this weather. A quick spray pre-blowout with Phyto's Phytokeratine Extreme Cream strengthens and hydrates my hair without weighing it down.

        4. Lip Love: My daughter reminded me that it's time to break out the lip balm. My kids love the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy. I am partial to ReVive's super hydrating Intensite Volumizing Lip Serum and La Mer's Lip Balm.  And don't forget about Sara Happ's Lip Slip or the Hourglass No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil. These are all great and you can never have too many lip balm choices!
