Created in 1916, Acqua di Parma’s first fragrance, Colonia, was used by Italian tailors to delicately fragrance the fabric of their custom creations. It served as a final touch of elegance for men’s suits before they were delivered to their high society clients. The iconic bottle, with its pure art deco inspired lines, is still made by hand. Each cap is hand polished and made of bakelite, the material used to make dials on radios in the early 20th century. Today, Acqua di Parma continues to be an iconic lotions and fragrance brand.
