Bluemercury seeks an eCommerce Manager with extensive experience in managing site experience and user flow. The manager will work as part of the eCommerce team to maintain and enhance the overall presence of bluemercury.com. This role will be working directly with an external software development team as well, to create scope and implement new site functionality.
Manage all requirements for new enhancements
Leverage web analytics to identify key opportunities for site improvements
Work with digital agency to scope and implement new functionality and improvements – from defining requirements, identifying costs and timelines, and conducting user acceptance testing
Conduct Site Assessment & Quality Assurance
Leverage web analytics and competitive website analysis to identify key opportunities for site improvements
Manage Shopify partnership to understand new apps / tool capabilities and determine interest and feasibility on website
Manage site search capabilities and enhancements within existing tool
Work with Analytics team to create, maintain, and deliver dashboard to measure important site metric
Partner with digital agency to update tracking onsite for enhanced reporting in Google Analytics
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 year degree required
- 3-4 years prior experience in eCommerce, digital consulting, platform management
- Technical background with digital product ownership
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including strong presentation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing and ambiguous situations; thrives in a dynamic & fast paced environment
- Exceptional computer skills, including experience in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with working with SAAS companies
