Expansive Nudes & Neutrals

Step 1

Prep

Expert Tip 1:
Start with eye serum to jumpstart the fight against dark circles and puffiness, this will make undereye concealer work harder for you.

Expert Tip 2:
Wait a minute or two after applying each product in the prep routine to allow time for the product to sink in.

Step 2

Brows & Eyes

Expert Tip:
The key to a neutral eye is to use a similar but not exact match to the client’s skin tone and blend a darker color on the outer 1/3rd of the lid, the crease and a touch underneath the outer half of the lower waterline to add a little definition.

Step 3

Base

Expert Tip:
Focus concealer where there is redness or discoloration. This and the sheer finish of skin tint, will create a natural but flawless finish.

Step 4

Complexion

Expert Tip:
For a dewy hydrated healthy complexion dab a highlight on to cheek and brow bones, it’s thick and dense so apply before powder or it will look creasy. Use bronzer to create a subtle contour and warm up the complexion, don't over do it. The effect should be subtle - not look like she’s wearing a lot of makeup.

Step 5

Lips

Expert Tip:
The trick to finding the perfect nude lip is to match her skin tone but go a little more rosy, purply or golden. This will subtly enhance, but keep her from looking too monochrome.
