Job Description
The purpose of the position is to ensure that inventory is accurate in all stores through reconciling receiving, troubleshooting data issues, and supporting buying/store operations in regard to all store shipments.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field
• 1-3 years of professional-level experience
• Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving and follow-through skills
• Strong understanding of inventory transactions and basic accounting principles
• Ability to meet daily deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing competing priorities
• Prior retail or warehouse experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to create process improvements
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Job Duties
• Ensure all merchandise is received properly at stores
• Reconcile purchase order receiving
• Review and adjust unknown sales, transfers, credits, and receiving
• Perform weekly analysis of inter-store transfers to ensure accuracy
• Investigate and correct unmatched transfers
• Adjust inventory based on monthly cycle counts
• Report monthly receiving transactions with feedback for process improvement
• Advise planners and store operations of issues with vendor shipments
• Perform first level of inventory discrepancy analysis to identify and adjust large discrepancies from semi-annual physical counts
• Assist in creating improvements that will prevent future problems in inventory management transactions
