To reduce sooting, you must trim the wick to ¼ inch / 6mm each time the candle is to be relit. Always leave at least 6in/15cm between burning candles. Avoid using in drafty areas. Stop burning when ½ inch (12 mm) of unmelted wax remains. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
