- Shake the bottle vigorously before using (this step makes the SPF even). Unlock the bottle by turning the cap a quarter turn. Spray along the body 15 minutes before sun exposure and rub in for smooth, even coverage. Reapply after 80 minutes of heavy sweating and swimming, and at least every two hours under the sun.
