Gentler on skin when compared to other Retinoids (such as synthetic and/or Tretinoin); much lesser side effects = suitable for all skin types. Metabolism of Retinal to Retinoic Acid occurs only by keratinocytes at a pertinent stage of differentiation, leading to a more controlled delivery of Retinoic Acid.
