What's the difference between men's fragrance, cologne, and men's perfume?

“Fragrance” is the umbrella term for all scented products. “Cologne” typically refers to lighter formulas with a lower concentration of fragrance oils, while “men’s perfume” usually has a higher concentration and longer staying power. All three describe types of scent, but they differ in strength and longevity.

Where should I apply men’s cologne or perfume?

Apply men’s cologne to pulse points such as the neck, wrists, or chest. These warmer areas help activate and diffuse the fragrance throughout the day. Avoid rubbing it in, as that can break down the scent.

How long does men’s fragrance last?

It depends on the fragrance concentration and your skin type. Eau de Cologne typically lasts a few hours, while Eau de Parfum (men’s perfume) can last 6–8 hours or more. For longer wear, layer with a matching body wash or lotion if available.

Can I wear men’s fragrance every day?

Yes, you can wear fragrance daily. For daytime use, opt for light, fresh scents like citrus, aquatic, or herbal notes. Reserve deeper, muskier men’s perfume fragrances for evening or formal occasions.
