- Carefully and gently flip candle over and pull holder up for removal.Trim the wick's length to a quarter inch. At the flame's first light, let the fire linger for at least two hours until the wax is a glistening pool. Thereafter, watch the candle burn slowly, evenly, and luxuriously. For a longer lasting candle, allow the top layer of wax to be fully melted before snuffing. Trim the tip of the wick before each new burn. Keep wax pool free from debris. Never leave burning candle unattended. This could be a fire risk. Place candle on a level, heat resistant, non-flammable surface away from fabric or drapes. Choose an area free from drafts to avoid uneven burning. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Discontinue use when 1/2-inch of wax remains.
