You may recognize hyaluronic acid from topical skin care products. We chose to include low molecular hyaluronic acid in our gummy because of its absorbability and 50% of the body’s hyaluronic acid is found in the skin. When ingested it helps keep moisture locked into the skin keeping it plump, hydrated and glowing. Amla fruit is considered sacred in India and is loaded with Vitamin C which helps repair and protect the skin from damaging free radicals. As we age, we naturally lose vitamin C in both the epidermis and dermis, which can also lead to a loss of collagen. Therefore, we included Vitamin C, a potent antioxidant, to increase collagen production. Like Vitamin C, Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that hydrates and supports the health of the skin. We included mixed tocopherols to give the body access to the most absorbable form of Vitamin E.
