- Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic acid): a moisture magnet that drenches skin to replenish hydration stores.
- Niacinamide: reduces the appearance of redness and soothes damaged skin.
- Vitamin C: helps to inhibit the enzyme tyrosinase, which helps to prevent melanin production (which causes hyperpigmentation).
- Arbutin: another inhibitor of tyrosinase.
- Licorice Root Extract: interrupts the enzymes that activate melanin production, making it a natural skin lightening agent.
- Tranexamic Acid: controls pigmentation by inhibiting the release of chemicals that enact hyperpigmentation formation.
